Our large-format flatbed scanners range comes from Microtek, a prominent brand in imaging technology and they have developed this to work for scanning items like maps, drawings, artwork, and other larger-sized media.
Items can be safely laid onto the glass platen and captured with Microtek’s leading linear CCD image sensor. It captures the image as a whole, not in sections or parts like sheet feed scanners. They digitally stitch the image back together, but it can cause alignment issues in the final digital image.
Scanning in one-piece, Microtek large format flatbed scanners negate this issue to deliver excellent digital images. Scanning up to 600 dpi optical, capture great colour and accuracy ideal for preservation and reproduction requirements.
Benefit also from advanced LED lighting. This wo-way LED light source decreases shadows of folded materials effectively and ensures excellent and faithful colour reproduction. Also included is multifunctional and professional scanning and image-editing software. It features advanced Image correction tools, ICC profiles, filter effects and more.
